The TRuK pendant lights by South African designer Stephen Pikus are a unique blend of recycled materials, industrial artistry, and inventive lighting solutions. Each light fixture began its life as an air filter, with some spending 10,000 hours or more, under the hood of a diesel truck. These filters have been given new life and beauty as they are repurposed, refinished, and upcycled to become one-of-a-kind light fixtures as their journey begins anew.
